This project involved finding ways to maximize awareness of amenities and features to increase revenue and guest spend. Our secondary goal was to enhance awareness of available amenities as prospective guests embarked on the process of planning their vacation.

 

One of the most viewed, but underutilized pages was the pools page, which originally just had two sentences with details on what was available on the pool deck without any calls to action.

I worked with our web team to redesign this page with boxes that highlight desirable features of the pool deck with clear calls to action to increase guest spend when applicable.

Results: After these changes were implemented we saw greater awareness of poolside amenity availability among guests and an increase in day pass and cabana revenue.

I also expanded the content on the golf pages of the website, adding additional pictures of the award-winning golf courses and more details on golf experiences the resort offers. On the fitness page of the website I added more information on fitness offerings. Leading to a lower bounce rate on both pages and increased awareness among guests.
