Here's an example of a blog post that I wrote for VisitAustin:

Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa sits in the heart of Austin’s Hill Country. The recently renovated AAA Four Diamond resort embraces the surrounding nature and rolling hills through its vibrant artwork by Texas artists and large windows that frame the landscape. While the resort feels worlds away, it is just 20 minutes from the city center.

SUNRISE AND SHINE
Start your morning with southern-inspired breakfast at Texas Spice, or watch the sunrise from the resort’s back porch as you enjoy pastries and barista-crafted coffee from Velvet Joe’s Coffee House & Artisan Wares.

TIME TO EXPLORE
After breakfast, take some time to explore the resort. Hike the nature trail or play miniature golf. Golfers of all skill levels can work on their game with a golf lesson at Barton Creek Golf Academy led by acclaimed PGA professional Brech Spradley, or make a tee time to play a round on any of our four championship golf courses named among the best in the state.

Looking to squeeze a morning workout into your day? The resort’s 33,000-square-foot fitness center has a comprehensive roster of weekly classes from yoga to weight training, and also offers a variety of fitness machines, Peloton bikes, free weights and functional fitness training areas.

LUNCH AND LOUNGE
Retreat to Canyons Clubhouse on the Fazio Canyons golf course or Crenshaw’s Bar & Eatery overlooking the Fazio Foothills golf course and take in the beautiful Hill Country views.

Lunch is also served by the resort’s pool at Latin-American inspired restaurant, Nopales. If you’re looking to lounge poolside, the resort’s pool deck has three sparkling pools that are open year-round and include a family-friendly option with a splash pad and an adult-only infinity pool overlooking the rolling hills.

AN AFTERNOON IN AUSTIN
Make the most of your afternoon – visit South Congress Avenue for local shopping, venture into the Barton Creek Greenbelt or make an appointment at Mokara Spa. Austin-inspired spa treatments include facials, salon services, massages and more. After a spa treatment, guests can indulge in a bit more rest and relaxation at the spa’s adult-only rooftop pool or tranquility lounge.

DINNER WITH A VIEW
Start your evening with dinner at Blind Salamander Kitchen & Bar with indoor and outdoor dining and a garden-inspired cocktail menu to explore.

Finish your evening with s’more by the fire pit on Lady Bird Lawn. After dinner, enjoy seasonal performances by local Austin musicians at Jim Bob’s Lobby Lounge at the resort, or venture downtown to see performances at ZACH Theatre, the oldest continually active theatre company in Texas.

PLANNING YOUR VISIT TO OMNI BARTON CREEK
Live music by local musicians and arts and crafts are key features in the Spring. Take a drive through the Hill Country to see bluebonnets, the state flower that creates a sea of blue along the highways. If you are traveling in the summer, enjoy poolside movies and family-friendly lawn games offered weekly. You may even be able to catch our summer music concert series. Fall allows you to marvel at the changing colors of the Hill Country on our nature trail or while taking in a round (or two) of award winning golf. If cooler weather is more your vibe, join us for Holiday in the Hills, a snowy winter wonderland experience for all ages.
